Creating a Culture of Reading...One Book at a Time

Junior, Miriah Donelson just finished her first book since 8th grade.  She's on a roll now and just checked out another one.  She loved Hip-Hop High School because it dealt with real-life situations and she could identify with it.  The story is about a  girl from the 'hood  who faces up to her own talent and ambition.  Everyone who's read it so at PT so far has loved it.  We also have more by Alan Lawrence Sitomer so come by and check it out!  Miriah just goes to prove that everyone is a reader...they just haven't found the right books yet.  Glad you've started the journey, Miriah!
