Book Review by Ashton Hurst

Every Day is a unique novel written by David Levithan.  I found myself extremely interested the entire time without any dull moments.  This novel is about a character named "A" who is a person without his own body.  He is just a soul who takes over different bodies of the same age just for one day.  He finds himself in many different sticky situations when taking these bodies over.  This leads to "A" meeting the love of his life who,  unfortunately, happens to be in a relationships.  In this novel, you will see how "A" deals with waking up in a new body every day and manages to keep a relationship alive.  Levithan also shows a variety of teen lifestyles with different upbringings and parental behavior.  This book made me feel very emotional towards people with rough lifestyles.  I think teenagers will be able to relate to the love story part of this book because of the many different struggles that came in between them and that sometimes it just doesn't work out.  Parents need to be aware that there are some scenes that may be considered inappropriate for young children; although, I highly recommend this book to anyone.
